Ryan McGinley makes short films. Strikingly beautiful, cunningly subtle short films. Something I did not know.

I read in the Chicago Reader that Ryan was at Pitchfork snapping pics of Cullen from Smith Westerns, which kind of makes sense, because Cullen is a heartthrob and so cooly confident yet full of that adolescent rawness/innocence/attitude that he would make a great natural subject esp. for RM. My friend Phoebe works at Ryan’s studios in NY and says he’s working on a video with SW! That is so exciting! You heard it here first.
